This home in Redding, CT with rustic brick flooring was in need of a deep cleaning. Brick, with its very porous clay makeup acted like a sponge for all the daily routine soils that are present in a busy home kitchen. Years of dog and cooking oils along with left behind detergents left this floor with an unsatisfactory appearance.
We pre-treated the floor with our green cleaner and scrubbed with rotary brushes followed by our hot water turbo power wash and extraction tool. The results were outstanding, returning the floor to its original beauty. The following day after the brick had dried completely we protected the newly cleaned surface with an impregnating sealer designed to lock out water and oils. The impregnating sealer does not change the color or add gloss of any kind… you hardly know its there until you spill something and it beads like a waxed car.
